The Four Parts of Medicare

- Part A
Medicaid Part A covers your typical health insurance. This is the base of Medicaid and is what most people expect when they approach the health insurance. This can be covered for anyone who is 65 or older and is a legal resident of the country. On top of that, the health insurance can also be given to those who are younger, but have certain disabilities.
- Part B
If you put Part B together with Part A, you get what most people call Original Medicare. This type of Medicaid covers the medical insurance. So for instance, if you have to get any kinds of services or supplies of a diagnosis or treatment, you will need to have Part B Medicaid. This can include anything from an X-ray, to a doctors visit, or going to a clinic.
- Part C
Next, its time to talk about Medicare Part C, or better known as Medicare Advantage. Medicare Advantage is used primarily for the additional coverage that the Original Medicare does not go over. This includes things like vision insurance or dental insurance. Keep in mind however that there are often networks that comes with this types of coverage. So, you would have to go to certain doctors and certain hospitals to be taken care of.
- Part D
Lastly, is a Medicare part d insurance overview. Before you go looking for medicare part d quotes from a Medicare part d quote company, you should know what Medicaid Part D is. It in fact covers the prescription medications that you may have to buy. That’s right, Original Medicare does not cover that. So, if you just get Parts A and B, you would still have to buy your medication yourself. If you don’t want to have to deal with that, ask for medicare part d quotes.
